Everything I’ve picked up these last 6 weeks or so, the bulk of it coming from my 3 day trip to the wonderful city of New York, New York. If given the chance, I would definitely visit it again.

Congratulations to the Japanese women’s national football (soccer) team, なでしこジャパン, for taking the spotlight at the FIFA World Cup 2011! They played extremely well throughout the entire tournament, surprisingly upsetting the German team and making it to the final round.

Just finished spring 2011 series, フラクタル/Fractale, in one day. It is set in the far future on Earth where everything is run with virtual technology and data via the Fractale system. Problems of the world are all solved by Fractale. The world is perfect, right? Of course not. Otherwise, this would just be a slice of life comedy and even those have some sort of conflict.

Re-kicking things off with AZU’s debut album, AS ONE. AZU is a Japanese R&B singer, usually known for her collaborations with fellow Japanese rapper, Seamo. Her stage name, AZU, is explained as “putting memories to all the words from A to Z and conveying them to U.”
